100/672 Calculation Bug

Hello,
APDL is giving me a warning that I will fly over 100/672 limit on my last trip this month. Specifically says I will have 100:08. My companies computer shows I will have 96:50 after last trip this month. I was off the end of last month so the 28 day period encompasses flying in July only. I went back and added all the block hours by FDP in APDL and with the 4 remaining FDP’s I have left, the block hours come up to 96:50. I cannot figure out how or why APDL is warning I will go over. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One addition: I had 5 DH this month which add up to 8:26. However, My one future DH is 3:18 That 3:18 plus the block is 100:08. It appears APDL is counting my future DH as block..

If the DH happens any time of day that isn’t the last leg of the duty period, it does count as FDP. If it is the last leg of the duty period, it is not part of FDP and should be omitted from the calculation.

You can tap the day in question (the 28th) and look in the header for that day. At the upper right where it is usually green and says “legal”, it will probably be yellow. Just left of that is a white paper icon. Tap that and change the drop down selection at the top to “legality detail”. This will show you all entries that were used in the calculation for all legality as of that day. I can’t answer your specific question directly, but that report may help shed some light on what’s happening

Here is an update:
APDL is using deadhead time to calculate 100/672 times which is not correct. DH before duty count towards FDP but not flight times. I have a FAR-MSP DH that is being used to generate a warning for 100/672. I understand this flight counts for FDP but why is it counting for flight time? When I show the flight canceled the 100/672 goes away but as a DH it’s there.

Go to settings/payroll and check the payroll category settings for Deadhead. Make sure “apply to Flight Time” is turned off, and “apply to legality” is turned on.

I’ll edit my response. It worked for a couple minutes. Now I have every thing turned off. The only way to make the calculation correct is cancel every deadhead for the month of July.
