Aircraft Type

What should I be putting in here? Cessna 172? C172?
How are others formating this?

I am putting C172 and in the remarks, Cessna 172

I use 'C172'. I would not bother with the remarks 'Cessna 172' - too much typing.

It is entirely up to you, but the shorter the better as if you use the PDA companions the longer names will make things more difficult as space is a premium on the smaller screens. You can always change it in the Options...Aircraft area and Logbook Pro will automatically update your Logbook with the new 'Type' name with no problem.
