anyway to "lock" existing data from being altered..

Hi,
When I scroll through my flts and veiw past data with the cursor, im always afraid i may accidentally alter existing flight data. If that happens, i would have no way of knowing it occured. Is there a feature that asks verification or a change to a previously entered flight? If so, would it be something to consider? Id hate to find out one day that all my hard work of making the times match up inadvertiantly was changed.
Also, say i scroll up a couple years to make a change. when I select the column i want to edit, it always jumps back to the last flight again. Am i missing something?
