Hours at a certain date.

Is it possible to find out the amount of hours in a certain column at a certain date?
For example:
I made a column called Captain hours. Is it possible to find out how many Captain hours I had on i.e. 25 december 2007. And then after that, at what date I had 1000 captain hours after 25 december 2007.

The only way I can think of is to use the Analyzer and change the date filter incrementally until you see the numbers you need.
