Currently my airline has a 4.0 hour per duty period which applies to the first moment a trip reports, until it releases such as you see below...

TOTALS BLOCK 2020 DHD 0000 CREDIT HRS. 2326 T.A.F.B. 8135

As you can see Wednesday the 5th blocked less than 4 hours, so Minimum Duty period credit of 4:00 applied and kicks in...

We currently also have (at least until it changes) an Average Daily Trip Guarantee (ADTG) of 4.75 per calendar day that kicks in if the 4.75 is not met. See below...

TOTALS BLOCK 0449 DHD 0000 CREDIT HRS. 1415 T.A.F.B. 4055

So as you can see by the raw times, this trip did not meet the threshold of 4.75 per day, so it had to have ADTG added into it in the amount of 6:15.

Essentially it first gained 2 minimum duty period guarantees (4.0 each for 8.0 hours). Then it had to have 6:15 added to it to make it get to the ADTG threshold...

So the question is, how do I set this up in APDL to make it work correctly...

Thanks!

I don't completely understand the ADTG you mentioned. Does that mean your trip always pays a minimum of 4.75 times the number of days in the trip? So a 4 day trip always pays at least 19 hours, 3 day pays 14.25 etc?

Currently, APDL does not have an option for a trip "rig" based on block time rather than TAFB.

You can use "minimum credit" in APDL to accomplish the first part of your situation though. To set up minimum credit in APDL, go to settings/payroll and choose the appropriate payroll category. I suspect that would be "block" and set "minimum credit" to 4+00. This is minimum credit per day that "block" is selected.

I will log the ADTG part for review and implementation in a future update.

Thanks for the insight guys... as it turns out we are now going away from 4.75 ADTG to 4 hours pay AND credit on calendar day layovers. I'll check to make sure I have the minimum credit set up as specified above...

Any suggestions as to why my minimum credit of 4 hours is not showing up for training events? I'm guessing I have something set incorrectly...

As you can see the image on the left shows the detail for the Payroll Category "Training"
I have it set up to apply to Legality and Apply to Pay and have 1:1 leg rig turned on (it originally wasn't but I was changing settings to try to get it to reflect correctly).

The image on the right shows my 8 hours of duty for yesterday, but isn't showing 4 hours or credit.

So what have I done incorrectly?

Thanks!
