My wife (who I finally convinced to at least get her PPL) just got an iPhone... yes I know stop pointing and laughing.

But as you know the "SDK" (if you can call it that) is to build apps for web 2.0 or AJAX.

The other possibility is doing javascript apps like those that google Gears allows.

http://www.aptana.com/iphone/ - found this as well.

Once they have a 3G version of iPhone and get the bugs out I might be interested in one as well (with a bigger HD, otherwise why would I get it if I can't reduce the number of things I carry)
