APDL Beta Install

I received my invite to participate in the APDL 8 Beta and as instructed before installing the Beta I was reading the Beta Info post and there is a section on Sync Improvements (action required) with instructions on doing a new sync upload/download. My question is, should this action be done prior to installing the Beta with the current version of APDL or done after with the Beta version?
