Cant backup

When I try to manually backup it asks me if I want to compact the data file. If I say yes it says cmpacting logbook then that screen disapears and nothing happens. If I say no, that screen disapears and nothing happens. When I go back to the backup "page" it says file not backed up.

Please attempt to repair your installation or uninstall/reinstall Logbook Pro. Make sure you are backing up to your local hard drive such as C:\MyLogbook.
