Default date for entering flights on iphone

I keep inadvertantly entering flights on the wrong date, as the date defaults to the last flight, not the current day. Is there a way to make it default to the current date? I don't know why you would want it otherwise. If I did I could change it on that rare time, instead of every time I make an entry.

Yes, you can turn off the recall options in "New Flight Auto-Populate" in Settings/Flight Log or just tap the "now" button to the right of the date field
