I've updated to version 1.9.7 but can't seem to find any information on the changes. Where the enhancements located at?

Apple released it's annual update - iOS 17 for both iPhones and iPads. After preliminary testing we see no issues with both Logbook Pro and APDL on iOS 17. We will continue our thorough testing with the public release and follow up should we find any issues.
We are giving a green light on iOS 17 for all of our iOS apps.

On a side note, I've been busy putting the last 20 years of my flying career into the program and I really love it! Some of the data existed in spread sheets, I found the import capabilities to be outstanding!
