I get the feeling I should know this but:

What is the definition of a leg? Does a leg require a landing or is it delimited by each navaid or intersection in the flight plan? (LUK - RID -MIE would be 2 legs)

What is the value of recording the legs of a flight?

Hi Willie,

A leg is representative to a 'flight' or 'sortie' for the military folks. It is between takeoff and landings. Logbook Pro uses this also to could your number of 'flights' in the reports and Analyzer.
