I am considering the purchase of a cell phone using Linux OS. Would I be able to use APDL with it? Thanks

Thanks, and my apologies in advance for my lack of understanding on the subject of LINUX, but I am confused as to whether the LINUX OS would preclude the use of using the pocket PC or Palm version of APDL. The phone itself (Motorola Ming) has touchscreen capability and a stylus.
Maybe someone with tribal knowledge on the subject can help? Thanks.
