Logbook Pro Backup

Hi,

I'm a new customer. I've backed up my logbook and it saves to the desktop as a BAK file. I am not able to open the BAK file. Any suggestions? I want to be sure I can view the backup file prior to downloading the new Logbook Pro version.

Hi Jeff,

BAK files are 'restored' from the File..Archive..Restore menu sequence.

If I have a Logbook Pro BAK file on my desktop do I really have my logbook backed up? How can I be certain? What is a BAK file and how do I use it?

Jeff,

A BAK file is a compressed Logbook Pro data file. You can restore the data compressed in this file using the menu options above.
