Minor updates are free, we have yet to cross the path of a major update, but we expect major updates will have a small upgrade fee. There is a 90-day grace period from purchase to new versions, and I can assure you a new version will not be out in the next 90-days. Logbook Pro was released in March 1998 and there has yet to be a fee for an upgrade.
