Resolved United Schedule Import with new CCS+

Same issues for me. I tried importing a trip through APDL.net (cut and paste from the print function in CCS+). The trip apparently processes successfully but nothing ever appears under 'my trips' for me to import to APDL.

Please read post #6

No problem, Neal - I tried what's suggested in post #12 as well. Still processes but nothing appears in my trips to send to APDL.
I believe I fixed it based on the info you sent in the ticket today. Try it now.

Yep, you got it. I was able to import all of my trips for March using the cut-and-paste method in APDL.net. Hopefully you can find a way to make the native schedule importer work again with CCS+ in the iOS version of APDL - that was such an easier way to make this all happen! Thanks for the help!

Try APDL again and see if it works next time. The alternative option is save the PDF on your phone, open the PDF and do a select all and copy. Then go to APDL and you can paste the text in and process it that way as well. APDL.net is not required. Make sure APDL has the United CCS+ filter set in Settings > Schedule Importer.

I imported from within APDL and it worked. However, I had to use the cut-and-paste method. It doesn't appear the 'download schedule' method within APDL will work currently since it no longer likes the format the trips are displayed in within CCS+ (it worked with the old CCS).

We'd need to get trip samples of what is being sent via the download schedule method as right now we have the parsers set for the PDF layout. We'll check into it from what we're logging in the system as well and try to continue to hone in the new CCS+ system.

Update: although the schedule import mostly worked, I later realized deadheads did not get added to my schedule although they were in the copied/pasted data.

I’m trying to help contribute to this since I started the thread, but I’m on reserve and that makes it difficult.

At any rate, here is an example of the trip detail screen that we get within CCS+, and this is exactly what I see when I use the app’s schedule importer function to navigate to the scheduling site. There are some more details in the unexpanded portions, but that is mostly crew, airplane, and layover info.

Understand the trials and tribulations of making APDL work with the new system, but can’t wait for the app’s schedule importer to work with this trip display.

Thanks for all the hard work.
