Space bar double tap enters period

Neal,

In the grand scheme of things this isn't a big deal. On my android, I used to be able to double tap the space bar to enter a dash. Once I updated to the newest google keyboard it now enters a period. I think I remember a setting to change this, but I can't find it.

There is probably something in the Android Settings overriding Logbook Pro. Try reviewing device settings to see what you can find.

Settings>My Device (tab)> Language and input> tap the cog next to your desired keyboard to modify the settings

I knew how to do that. Thanks. I thought there was a setting in LBpro. Its not a big deal.

Logbook Pro will replace two spaces with a dash but if the OS is entering a period such as for auto completing a sentence Logbook Pro will never see the two spaces.

After a quick look, I do not see a setting that would correspond to that.

If you go into your Language and Input device settings, tap the gear next to your keyboard, go into Preferences and see if you have "Double-space period" as an option - if so turn it off.
