We've done preliminary testing on the upcoming Apple iOS 13 release using the "gold master" which is the initial release going out to the public on September 19th and our tests show both APDL and Logbook Pro are iOS 13 compatible. APDL has a few very minor layout issues which we will soon fix with footer text and the top bar where the clock and network info is located is black. Other than that we see no issues in the functionality or operation of the app that would prevent anyone from upgrading to iOS 13.
If you find any issues please include screenshots and submit a support ticket via our help desk.
iOS 13 is a GO!
I too have been waiting, now that version 1.6 is where I want it I can move on with the PDA plans. However, I am going to be very honest here, the PDA versions are not going to handle data differently than the PC version. For example, if Logbook Pro uses decimal value times, i.e. 1.5 for flight time, the PDA will do the same. This is still up in the air as the development is not complete, but that's my plan at the moment. When version 2 comes out with time format options, then the PDA will follow with the same.
