I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet. However, for the last few months every time I open up APDL while not in airplane mode, the program crashes. I thought there would be an update but there has not been yet. It happens in the beta version and the live version. It seems to work very well if data is turned off on the IPad.

Confirm all devices are using the beta version? You cannot mix versions, i.e. once you use the beta you cannot use the App Store version - it will crash. This is covered in the beta forum welcome post.
