Clarification of Time Change

Neal,

I just want to be certain I understand the upcoming time change with regards to APDL. In both your announcement posted on this forum and the October Newsletter that I received today, you say,

'If you are importing trips after October 29th, wait until you have unchecked "Daylight Savings is in effect".'

I have already imported my November bid schedule which is FLiCA and based on local times. I just experimented with unchecking the "Daylight Savings is in effect" box with my schedule in already in APDL. When I change the time view from "local" to "zulu" the new time conversion seems correct.

So...in this situation will I really need to remove my November schedule and re-import after 10/29 and that box is unchecked?

Eric,

Please re-import all your flying for November, after you un-check "Daylight Savings is in effect".

This is necessary, so when times are converted form "Zulu", "Local", or "Domicile" back to your "Logbook" time zone the values are correct.
