Custom time tracking

I'd like to have the ability to track a custom time that would then match up with custom fields in LBP. My scenario would be to track the hours and number of oceanic crossings.

In the leg editor: just tap a checkbox that has your custom text "Oceanic Crossing", and it would then be tagged to sync with that custom field in LBP.

I thought something similar was, but wanted to be sure. I searched the requests forum and didn't see anything matching it.
