Default Date

It would be helpful if the default date for a new entry was the CURRENT DATE (i.e. "today's date").

I have inadvertently logged flights with the wrong date because the date that appeared automatically was for the last flight recorded, not the current flight (a few days had elapsed since the last flight).

Usability studies have shown that people typically enter flight information on or about the same date. If you are entering flights from 1976 and have to change the date everytime as the new entry uses today's date, it would be painful. Logbook Pro is designed to be as automated as possible.

You can click in the date field and press 't' for Today's date or 'p' for the previously entered date. This may help a little.
