Hello, just a quick note and question. Currently trying Logbook Pro in conjunction with Airline Pilot daily av. logbook. love the APDAL format,ie duty times, per diem, but am finding that exporting to logbook pro is very time consuming and complicated. I am aware that ver. 1.9.5 will be out shorlty, and I know I cannot demo the PDA companion yet, with the companion and logbook pro working together, is it easy to transfer data from one to the other. I am looking for a setup like the calendar applications, just hotsync and bam! everything gets transfered. please let me know, once i find it, i can buy!

PS- are there screen shots or online manualsof PDA companion to see what items can be entered/formats? can't seem to find any.

thank you for your time.

Hello,

Sync'ing Logbook Pro PDA's to the PC is very simple. It is typically a two step process: 1) Sync, 2) Authorize the data to be merged into your PC logbook (as a last chance abort to prevent erroneous entries from any PDA "play").

You can demo the PDA's simply by installing it from 1.9.4's PDA Companion Menu "unless" you are using a Palm OS 5 product which is not yet supported until the 1.9.5 release.

You can view the documentation on the PDA's from the Logbook Pro help documentation by clicking Help...Contents, or directly from the PDA Companion \ Palm Companion area.

You can find screen shots in the documentation, our videos at http://www.logbookpro.com/videos.aspx, and the online tour. Check out the Tutorials menu item on the left side menu of http://www.logbookpro.com.

To purchase the Palm Companion, you can Click Here to purchase the product, which will entitle you to a free update to 1.9.5 when that releases in a few weeks (or less).

Let me know if there are any other questions I can assist with.
