Resolved employment

[Redbaron64]

Hello.. I don't see Eastern Air Express (BBQ) as a option to add for employment... APDL Employment history..

[Neal Culiner]

I'll log it for addition

[Redbaron64]

I'll log it for addition

is that a simple add on?

[Neal Culiner]

We just need to update our databases in the app. The change has been made and should be available in an upcoming beta of APDL which should be out soon.

[Redbaron64]

There are 2 Eastern Airlines

Eastern - not sure code right now, but can get it..
and
Eastern Air Express - BBQ

[Redbaron64]

When will an update be sent out adding these operations to APDL?

The ICAO codes are:

• Eastern Air Express: BBQ
• Eastern Airlines: EAL

Eastern Air Express

• ICAO Code: BBQ
• Call sign: EASTERN EXPRESS
• Status: This airline was acquired by Eastern Airlines in late 2023 and continues to operate.

Eastern Airlines

• ICAO Code: EAL
• Call sign: EASTERN
• Status: This is a revival of the historic airline that ceased operations in 1991, it started new operations in 2018.

We're preparing a public beta in final testing. You will be notified when available.

[AMNegron]

Any chance of getting US Military branches added to the list of employers?

[Neal Culiner]

I'll log the suggestion. Thanks @AMNegron

This has been added and should be available in a future APDL update.

[Redbaron64]

hows the beta testing going.. ?

[Neal Culiner]

Going well, are you testing the public beta? How's it look on your end?

[Redbaron64]

I don’t believe I’m on the beta team… I think I got taken off about three or four years ago

[Redbaron64]

Currently
14.1.0.3

[Neal Culiner]

No one was removed from the former beta team, however, we really don't do much with the former beta team any longer as we're well beyond those days.

No one is removed from TestFlight unless they request to be removed. I suggest open the TestFlight app and see what it shows you but you can join, if not already joined, by clicking here.

[Redbaron64]

Ok

[Redbaron64]

Hi Neal.. just seeing about Eastern status for employment in APDL?

[Neal Culiner]

It was added, if you're testing the public beta it should be available.

[Redbaron64]

OK.. 14.9.1.42 TESTFLIGHT LOADED

I don’t see the Eastern Airline option avaliable.. Is this the correct version?

[Redbaron64]

Ok.. found under international and all, vs United States ..
