How do i turn a clone into the primary?

-My primary logbook was on a hdd which suffered catastrophic corruption.
-I tried to save the data but lost 2 years worth of entries.
-I have a clone with the data that was not lost, but will not sync to the primary.
Making the clone lb the primary will be the quickest way back on track.
