iOS calendar question

I'm not sure if this is a setting I've missed or not, but I now notice the Logbook Pro app deletes the events from my calendar after I enter the flight times and uncheck the "pending" box. I don't remember this happening before. Is this part of a new version and can I turn it off? I'd like to leave the events in my calendar for future reference.

Whenever you update a flight it removes and recreates the event with the updated values. Review your settings in Settings/Calendar just to be sure all is as you want including the desired Calendar to use.

I use a shared calendar with my wife and after every flight we get an alert saying an item has been deleted. I'll have to check my ios settings. It gets rather annoying.

I'm not sure but if you're using iCloud I believe Apple is having issues right now.
