Is older version available?

I need to get ahold of an older version of Schedule Importer. In the new version, nothing gets imported for Aloha Airlines trips. Is there a place where older versions are available?

I'm sorry but we do not maintain older versions, only the latest release is available. Please submit a support ticket and include your trip data and we'll investigate the cause of the issue.

i have submitted a ticket. i was just hoping to find an older version to use until this problem can be fixed since this bug makes the importer function completely useless and i dont know how long it will be for the fix.

Our next update is slated for the end of June. I'm sure Josh can address your issue via the help desk system if you require further assistance. We'll discuss potentially an earlier release depending on other issues that may need addressing in this update as well.

The trip copy we have was submitted by someone in your company. I do not know why it is different. I will adjust the filter to support both header formats. I have already given you the look of what the first line should be. Just add in that extra information and it will import fine. We will have this resolved in our next release.

actually it doesnt import fine just by changing the header. all that does is allow the pairing number to be imported. all the trip details are still not imported, even with this "work around".

i was at least one of the ones that submitted multiple trip copies a while back to resolve the slight differences between the pairings for the importer. after that it worked fine.

i've even tried to import trips off of a document from several months ago that i successfully imported in the past with the previous version of Schedule Importer. this seems to suggest that something is wrong with the new version of the importer, not the pairings.

i can submit current trip copies along with copies from last month to a year ago (when it was working) so you can see that nothing has changed with the pairings.

It would be great if you could submit as many trip samples as you can in a new help desk ticket. I suggest just copying them into Word (or Notepad, or PDF) then uploading the single Word doc with your submission. We'll do a full review on this filter and make sure it is resolved on the next update.

thanks. i've done that. i put a couple samples in a word document, and i've also sent you a current pairing pdf schedule as put out by the company in original format.

do you happen to know if there is another comany that uses these NOVA generated pairings? if so, maybe we could use their filter with small changes to the pairing so at least something would import while we wait. i've tried many different experiments to get at least some of the data imported with no luck so far. it wouldnt be so bad if we didnt regularly fly 8 to 10 legs per day.

ok.. i found out whats going on. for some reason it depends on which version of adobe acrobat i am cut and pasting from. when i use adobe acrobat 6.0 professional, it imports just fine. when i use adobe acrobat reader 7.0, it starts to have problems.

i noticed that it changes the way the data is arranged on the clipboard, even tho the layout is exactly the same in the document. i've also noticed that 7.0 is copying extra data that wasnt previously copied (like the "Day" column). that same data is highlighted in 6.0, but for some reason doesnt make it on the clipboard. here's the sample:
