Under Settings - Privacy - Calenders it's all blank. I tried to set up the calendar in LBP and it says I need to set the privacy setting but the iphone isn't receiving a request. Iphone 7 with 11.1.2.
I'm not able to reproduce this. Go to Settings > Calendar within Logbook Pro and turn the Calendar option ON and see if that works for you. Then go to the Flight log area and see if you get prompted.

You may want to go to your device's Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset Location & Privacy. This sounds like a problem on your device. I assume you have accounts registered in iOS with calendars turned ON as well?
