Problem installing on Palm Tungsten|E

Hi!

I downloaded both Logbook Pro and the Palm Companion and tried to install them yeasterday. The desktop version installed without problem, but the Palm Companion did not. After transfer to the Palm device it installs itself on the Palm. Thereafter I get "Fatal errors" and the only way to get out of it was a hard reset of the Palm. I tried to uninstall and reinstall three times with the same result.

I have tried to find answers in the forum but without success so far.
I am currently using (8 years now) FlightLevel logbook with their Palm Companion, but I have problem with that software, so I thought I'd take Logbook Pro for a test ride.

Anyone out there with some answers to my problem?

Hello Karl,

Are you able to perform a hard reset of your palm device then reattempt the installation? I'm concerned something else on the device may be in conflict. If you can do the hard reset, then uninstall/reinstall "Logbook Pro Palm Companion" on your PC so it re-HotSync's the installer. HotSync twice after the installation is complete, first is to install to your PDA, second is to sync the data from your PC down.
