IACRA has subdivided even more, now.
I would probably say trashing the 8710 and replacing with a simple report is the way to go now.
I'm not sure what the difference is since this the beginning of this post back in 2017, but the 8710 is only marginally useful in filling out IACRA of 2023. Certainly better than nothing, but if the FAA requires all the boxes filled out it's gonna be a pain. This, after all, is one of the best reasons to have an electronic logbook.
