Error installing Logbook Pro.

Hi everyone!

I downloaded the latest version of Logbook Pro from this website to try before I buy. Upon double clicking the downloaded file, the software downloads "WindowsInstaller-KB893803-x86.exe" and once that completes I get the following error message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!
Program: ... lbproNoMSI.exe
abnormal program termination

The only option is OK which closes the box and stops installation. I have also tried to install in Safe Mode, but it comes up with the same error.

Any suggestions please?

Hello,

It sounds like you don't have all the Windows Updates one of which is the updated Windows Installer Engine. Download and install this file which is an installer that includes the components your computer is missing.
