It is mentioned in the Beta sticky to reference the "getting started guide" regarding the toolkit for safari, but I can't seem to find that guide. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Is all of that only pertinent if your airline uses flica, or will it work for other web sites?

Give it a try with your site but the initial plan is Flica. The APDL Toolkit is more than just Flica though, it's a Safari browser integration (extension) that you can and should turn on which allows you to go to your schedule site and select/process trip data from Safari directly. If none of this works for you the fallback is:

1) APDL.net Schedule Importer (don't forget to click the button below the trip grid to Import Trips to APDL)
2) On the Schedule and Calendar views the top right is a + button where you can tap and choose the option to paste in your trip data there as well.
