Import data from MS outlook?

My company sends the pilots e-mail copies of our leg times. To expedite logbook entry, I'd like to export these e-mails to a .csv file, and import it with my logbook (FlightLevel 2003).

Has anyone done anything like this, or does anyone have any tips?

I foresee that I'll have to either re-arrange the data in the company e-mails or the format of my logbook. I think I'll also have to change the extension of the outlook file to *.dbf for the Logbook to read it. Any other tips?

Thanks,

Mauser.\

Hello Mauser,

I received your duplicate support ticket as well, I'll answer here. First off, we are Logbook Pro and not FlightLevel. Logbook Pro has an Import Wizard allowing you to import any comma (CSV) or TAB delimited data files as long as the first row contains column headings, all subsequent rows are data and you have at least the columns of: Date, Type, Ident, Route, and Duration. Please see the documentation and Import Wizard topic to learn more.
