• Apple released it's annual update - iOS 17 for both iPhones and iPads. After preliminary testing we see no issues with both Logbook Pro and APDL on iOS 17. We will continue our thorough testing with the public release and follow up should we find any issues.

Importing Custom Information to Logbook Pro

Sep 30, 2004
Question: I have used Logbook Pro for a few years now and purchased APDAL and would like to know how to go about:

1- allow custom entires into LBP ie: PIC Jet, PIC Turbo, ect.?

2- can you input, via the PC, airport and aircraft list, instead of doing it on the Palm Pilot?

Thank you.

Hello FS,

Regarding your questions, I assume you are asking if you can add custom fields to APDL? If that is your question, that is not possible. You can use the Options...Custom area in Logbook Pro to track custom information, however. Check that you are not duplicating information Logbook Pro already provides you. Complete the Options...Aircraft section of Logbook Pro then you'll see Logbook Pro will automatically determine your Category & Class information, there is no reason to log these columns separately.

You must configure your airport information directly in APDL. Logbook Pro does not use an Airport or Aircraft list, you simply add what you need as you need it.

Let me know if there are any other questions I may assist with.
