I have a new laptop with WinXP Pro

In order to re-install I had to use 'Administrator' principles.

I wish to run LogBook Pro under a plain user account.

After installing LBPro 'builds' new structures etc.
LB Pro hangs.
LBook has been 'repaired' as per instructiions in this forum.
Programs still hangs when it tries to take advantages of new structures.
Also when the icon is clicked the program 'runs' in the system with no window present.

Q? Can I use LBook Pro as a general user or can it only be run under 'Admin'

Q? How can I fix the problems to stop it hanging.

Thanks

Mark

Mark,

Yes, you should be able to use a normal user account as long as you can read/write from the registry, both HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

Please submit a support ticket and include a backup (.BAK) of your LogbooK Pro data file in the Attachment feature of the ticket.
