Landings definition

In the currency editor one can select landings as day, night or total. For general currency, I assume "total" is the right choice.
On the spreadsheet, one is offered "day" or "night". Am I to assume that "total" just adds the two?

Correct, Total is the sum of DAY + NIGHT landings.
