Missions vs. Legs

I'm military and a lot of the ways we track flight information breaks them up into missions and sorties (i.e. 1 mission can have several sorties).

Currently the way I'm entering the data keeps track of the legs (sorties), but has no effective way to track missions that I can see. What I'd like to be able to show is an overall mission time (or total flight time) and then be able to break that down into individual sorties.

Is this possible?

The only thing you could do is add custom fields to try and get the effect desired. I can't say I completely understand your need, but this is something you'll have to tinker with and see if you can get your desired result.
