Hi guys and gals,

I hope there is someone out there than can help me and my fellow pilots out. I took some sample data that can be imported in the schedule importer to our Chief Scheduler. She had NO idea what it was or how to get it out of CrewTrac. I believe the data that I showed to her was Generic CrewTrac bidlines (adobe).

Does anyone know what steps or reports to build in order to get the data out in a format that she could e-mail to individual pilots? We do not, nor does the company plan in implementing web based anything. :(

Our company is, how shall I be politically correct, frugal in their funds. From what she tells me, it is the bare minimums for CrewTrac to build schedules (most of the time it shows :=) )

Or is the exporting of individual schedules a seperate module available from Sabre?

Thanks,
CaptnJB

PS I do not believe any of the Chief Schedulers that our company has had have been formally trained in CrewTrac.

Which Airline are you trying to import ? Does your company provide an electronic version of your Bidpackage (Usually this is in a PDF Adobe file) ?

I work for Great Lakes Airlines. They do not provide anything electronic. I was hoping to give her a series of steps that she can follow to create the Adobe PDF files.

We played around in CrewTrac for a short time but nothing was apparent. I should have asked her this before I posted here, but when she gets the data from marketing to build our bidlines, does that go into CrewTrac, or another 'part' of the program?

Thanks,
Justin

Here is a sample crewtrac pairing :

I would look at the software that your company is generating the bidpackages with.

Paul,

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. How did you 'print' this from crewtrac? She does put all the data into crewtrac and it builds the lines.

If you wouldn't mind being specific on how you 'printed' it, it would be helpful for me to walk her through it.

I remember showing her a copy of a pairing that was very similar to your printout, and she sent me back an email asking what in the heck that was. :)

Thanks for all your help,
Justin

I wish I could be specific but I have not used the linebuilder or crewtrac software. Do you get printed bidpackes ? If yes, who generates them ? Ask them for the source file they printed it from. This will contain the pairings in electronic form.

Sorry I cant be more helpful.
