Route Browser will not generate a Google Earth File

Hello,

I am using version 2.01 of Route Browser, and when I try to generate a google earth file and launch Google Earth (v5.0), I get this message:

"Could not open file C:\Program Files\Route Browser\Google\My Routes.kml for reading"

On further investigation, when I navigate to the location where Google Earth thinks the .kml file should be, it does not even contain a folder with a Google title.

Thanks

I should have mentioned above, that I am using a PC running Windows Vsita (32bit).

Thanks,

Jug

You may have to contact FlightCentral support directly, but try disabling User Account Control in the Windows Control Panel / User Accounts area, reboot and retry. Typically with UAC turned ON files cannot be written inside the C:\Program Files folder structure so most likely UAC disabled the KML file from being generated.

Thanks, that did the trick. I disabled UAC in Vista, and now the .kml is able to be generated and I can see all my flights in Google Earth. Thanks Again!
