Start entries in chronological order?

I have Logbook Pro ver. 1.9.9 (paid and unlocked). I also have 27+years and over 12,700 hours of paper logbook flight time to enter now. This looks like a daunting task to be sure, but it has to be done.

My question is:
Does anybody have any recommendations (pros and cons) on where to start?

1) start in the begining with my first flight and work up to the present, or

2) start at the present and work backwards towards the begining of my flying career?

Any pros and cons either way?

Thanks

Hello,

Congratulations on a successful aviation career! In Logbook Pro you can enter flights in any order, the only stipulation is flights on the same calendar date must be entered in the order flown.

See this article for tips.

I have just put all of my flying into logbook pro and I did it chronologically. I also set up the analyzer to display hours from my first flight till the present and kept it running. At the end of every couple of pages I refreshed the analyzer and compared the totals with the totals in the log book and then resolved any discrepancies (most were addition errors in the original.)
