Starting Logbook pro... (not responding)

I just Dl'd Logbook pro, installed it and entered the key code. New users "create new data file", I did that. Then I have a place in my Desktop where I named my logbook, and hit create, The window closes and then another window opens and says "log book pro update", it says your log book will now be updated to take advantage of several new feature, Either cancel or OK. Cancel closes the program so I hit OK. Lower left hand corner has a red 100% and next to it says "building new structure......please wait".

I let it run for about 10 minutes and when ctrl+alt+del. The program is not responding. I have uninstalled the program, and reinstalled the program it has done it 4 times all same results.

What do I do.
