Since it is not possible to install ActiveSync in Vista I started looking for the solution. As it appears, Microsoft has come up with a new piece of Vista software for communication with mobile devices. It's called Windows Mobile Device Center. And it works fine!! :agree:
Even though it is still in beta, it actually does the job. Syncing is no problem.

PS for Intel chip users : Never mind the 'AMD64' in the title for downloading the x64 version, I am running it on my Intel computer and it works fine...
