Transfer of Data

On April 7 2006 my laptop was ruined by a tornado. I extracted the hard drive and copied the files onto a new laptop after installing Logbook Pro, but I cannot access my most recent data. I was able to restore a backup from June 2005, but I can access anything more current.

I have tried using the "File -> Open" option to open my former logbook, but when I open it, no data is present. Is there a way for me to recover my most current data from my former logbook?
