Upgrading from 4.x to latest

Hello,

I purchased APDL back in 2002 and would now like to upgrade to the latest version. I understand that I will need to repurchase a new registration key. My question is, can I simply install the latest version over my older one and keep all my data intact?

Hello Scott,

Yes, you can install right over top the old version and your data will remain. You can also perform a HotSync and then backup up the Palm Backup folder located at C:\Program Files\palmOne\{Your Palm Username}\Backup in the event you need to revert to an older version.
