Anytime I do any file access (Saving or reading) when running LBP, my A drive in use light comes on and the drive actually runs for 5 or 10 secs. I have my primary LBP file on my C drive and backups on a D drive which is a Zip drive. I'm 85% sure it was doing it with previous builds of LBP, which leads me to believe that there is some arcane setting in my operating system that I have discombobulated, although I haven't noticed it with other programs.

Any tips that you could give me that would stop this?

Have you ever done a backup or restore from the Floppy? Logbook Pro remembers the last location of a file operation such as backup/restore. As to why it would do this without initiating this operation I do not know. I don't have any solution for this situation unfortunately, although harmless but irritating.
