Can't edit or scroll through speadsheet style logbook

I imported some new logbook entries with the import wizard, and the text in all entries turned grey. I can't edit or add any new entries nor am I able to scroll through the logbook. I restored the backup that was created just prior to the import, but it has the same issue.
