Dear Neal,

Marco and I are now using the Pocket PC from Ipaq. Modell H1940 which works fine with the Booster. But we still have some questions:

- When and why do we have to purge the database in the PPC ?
- How can we activate a new Aircraft Type in the PPC ?
- Can we update our LogbookPro either on the PC and on the PPC to have all data after
syncronization on both ?
- Sometimes when we run the Active Sync and wetry toImport the database from the PC the Import Wizard is not blank in the LogbookPro PPC Menu. So we cannot click it even when we purged the data before. "We used he "\Program Files\Logbook Pro\Logbook.cdb" file.

1) You don't have to purge, it's automatic with ActiveSync, unlike the Palm.
2)You can't. Settings must be "added" to the PC then it will be sync'd down to the PDA at next ActiveSync session
3) PDA is an "add-only" utility and is not designed to maintain full logbook data. Intent of PDA is to add information while away, then sync it to PC for primary use upon return. This may change in version 2 (next year).
4) You shouldn't be using the Import wizard (from File menu in PC) for anything with the PDA! ActiveSync will take care of all data importing from the PDA to the PC. Please read the documentation on the PDA Companions from the PC by clicking Help...Contents then expanding the PDA Companion topic.
