• Apple released it's annual update - iOS 17 for both iPhones and iPads. After preliminary testing we see no issues with both Logbook Pro and APDL on iOS 17. We will continue our thorough testing with the public release and follow up should we find any issues.

Problem with PalmOS AirlineLog-200xxx.pdb's?

I used Filez on the Treo 650 and I noticed that AirlineLog-200608.pdb file properties were incorrect. The properties should be:
Type: data
Creator: APDL.

However, for AirlineLog-200608.pdb the properties were:
Type: APDL,
Creator: data

So, the Palm OS was not recognizing AirlineLog-200608.pdb as a data file (maybe?). I manually changed the file properties within Filez to be correct.

FYI...AirlineLog-200608.pdb was the first new data created since I updated APDL to v6.0.3.

Hello Abe,

We received your support ticket and will respond once we've investigated the issue.

Thanks. I tested this by creating a fake flight in October (I have no other data for that month). I confirmed that the Creator and Type are swapped in the fake month AirlineLog-200610.pdb.

Thank you for binging this to our attention. It will be corrected in the next Palm release. It does not effect the operation of the software, or the PDA Sync wizard with Logbook Pro.

Fly Safe!
