Flt time and import question

1) Why do we have to have the required 5 fields. Please help me understand. It makes no sense to me. Will that ever go away??

2) Can I create a calculated field i.e -- Night = Dur minus Day??

3) Can I import a CSV fiel that has Flt time in HH:MM and HH:TENTHS?? Or do I need to convert??

2) Not in this version, we are planning for this in version 2
3) Yes (see the lower left portion of the opening screen of the Import Wizard) 'Source Format of Flight Time'
