How Long Do I Get Updates, and will it be long enough?

I am evaluating LBP. I think I will buy it as it looks like it has some good features, but I have one concern.

In the FAQ you state that the next release of LBP will support logging and totals in HH:MM format. This is what I want in the first place, but Im concerned that if the update comes too late I'll have to buy it again. How long will I be entitled to updates if I buy now? And when is version 2 expected? Also, will version 2 be considered part of the free updates for version 1 purchasers?

Hello Chris,

Please see the bottom section of the policies page titled "Upgrades." Essentially all minor updates are free (1.1, 1.2, 1.3) and when the left number changes (1.1, 2.0, 3.5) is when a major upgrade is available and there will be a small upgrade fee, to be determined at that time. Version 2 is in development slated for a late summer release. As this is a major update there is expected to be an upgrade fee.
