Hey, when i reinstalled logbook pro the other day i recovered my database but all my preset options were reset, for example, display setitngs in the spreadsheet, anaylyzer and report margins.

Is there a way to save these when i need to reinstall because the next time i print out a report i have to print my entire logbook because it changed something little that doesnt align with before.

Thanks
Erik

Hello Erik,

A lot of the settings are stored in the PC's registry area. You would have to backup then restore the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\VB and VBA Program Settings\Logbook Pro [DATABASE NAME]

[DATABASE NAME] is the name of your data file without the .LBK extension.

In the next version of Logbook Pro we intend to resolve this issue so the settings travel with the data.

Status?

Hello,

What is the status of the version update allowing settings to be backed up along with the data?

Upgrade to v2

If I buy Logbook Pro now, what will it take to upgrade to v2 when it comes out?
